Lynn Heselton, MSN, APRN, PMHCNS-BC, EMDR
Lynn Heselton is a licensed Texas psychotherapist with 20 years of counseling experience. Lynn has worked in many settings including psychiatric hospitals and outpatient treatment centers. She has been in practice in the DFW Area since 2009. Lynn is currently in private practice in Dr. John Naus's (Psychiatrist) office in Colleyville, TX.
Lynn is certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy) and was trained by Dr. Francine Shapiro; the creator of EMDR. Lynn is an author, public speaker and instructor for licensed therapists. Lynn is the co-author of Revisioning: Rapid Mirror Neuron Psychotherapy for Grief and Trauma, published in 2016. Lynn is the co-developer of Revisioning therapy methods to repair ego damage due to trauma, grief, and childhood abuse.
Lynn is an Advanced Practice Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist. She is Nationally Certified and Texas Licensed to provide counseling. Lynn has a Master's Degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from University of Rochester, NY. She has a BS in Nursing, BS in Psychology and minor in Biological Sciences. Lynn is currently a Doctor of Clinical Psychology Student.
Lynn is continually learning and incorporating the most advanced and effective therapy methods into her practice. She believes that each client is unique and needs customized psychotherapy to help them reach their goals. Lynn has an engaging, interactive approach to counseling, She enjoys talking with people about emotions, and how to achieve emotional healing.
